Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American broadcaster. She works for ESPN as the SportsCenter anchor for news. Since 2016, Collins has was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at her age of nine. This skill has helped her get her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In St. Petersburg, she was hired by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. In 2009 she relocated away from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley in Texas, where she became an editor for KNVO48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she was often requested to serve as a sports and weather anchor. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she is more responsible. She reported on the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. Aside from this she also co-hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She was promoted to anchoring sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She held the same position in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents come from Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has a sister. In 1992, the family moved to Miami after moving to Mexico in the US. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins had taken a position along with her sister. At the time of her senior year in high school but having a clear vision of what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta was able to visit her local University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her requirements. The campus was stunning as well as offered the level of education she sought. After completing her studies, she was admitted to the university for a master's degree in media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his love of journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
